Lyrics

Beautiful Ring

Gary Will Kreie

[Verse 1]
Weddings cost a lot but we
Do not have lots of money
So I ask you will you let me be
Our wedding planner honey
You answer that the ceremony
Isn’t everything
You only wish to seal our love with
Family and a ring

[Chorus]
Beautiful day, beautiful bride
Beautiful field we find outside
I’m planning to exceed your wedding
Dream, so I spend every
Dime, baby I had
On this gold and diamond band
So I’d place on your hand
A beautiful ring

[Verse 2]
The pastor starts to say his part
My sister sings “I Cross My Heart”
You turn to me I turn to you
We both repeat “I do”
I put the ring upon your finger
Shining in the country sun
Your face lights up in disbelief
Like I was dreaming of

[Chorus 2]
Beautiful day, beautiful bride
Beautiful field we found outside
I’m working to exceed your wedding
Dream, and I spent every
Dime, baby I had
On this gold and diamond band
So I’d place on your hand
A beautiful ring

[Bridge]
When I kiss you on the lips I see a
tiny tear
Running from your eyes down to a
smile from ear to ear

[Chorus 3]
Beautiful day, beautiful bride
Beautiful field we found outside
I’m hoping I exceed your wedding
Dream, cuz I spent every
Dime, baby I had
On this gold and diamond band
Reminder that our love
Will never end

[Outro]
Worn forevermore
A beautiful ring
